Marquita is a native of Louisiana and a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor's in Marketing. 

Her love for media began in high school while attending a journalism program away from her home school at Booker T. Washington High School. While in the program she was able to be mentored by top television and radio personalities, conduct interviews on high school grounds and community colleges- leading to a scholarship for college.  

 

Her background consisted of interning for The People's Station V-103, CBS Radio, Fox Sports South, and The Atrium Event Center, along with being heavily involved in CAU-TV and WSTU- CAU's on campus radio station that was prominent in promoting Atlanta talent Ludacris, Bobby Valentino, Lil Scrappy, TI, 2 Chainz and Young Dro to name a few.
