Meet the Author- Jaime' Martinez
January 15, 2017 (Atlanta, Georgia) Mexican-American author Jaime' Martinez is the brains behind 2 of the hottest Latin romance books in the South- "Mijito Doesn't Live Here Anymore" and "Cochina!"
He was born in Sacramento, California where his passion for writing begin in grade school , he would tell stories aloud to his classmates in a diverse settings of his area. That same setting was live canvas were he noticed culture difference, numerous dysfunctional homes, and the ability to dream big!
Martinez states- "The lack of Mexican American characters on television was the driving force for his creativeness to write both novels.
He wrote "Mijito Doesn't Live Here Anymore" with a backdrop of reality addressing issues of homosexuality, AIDS, and loneliness, and a mixture of fiction drama that appeal to people of all stripes.
The second book "Cochina" Martinez chose to harness his imaginative personality and apply it to shaping the characters for this book depicting tales of heartbreak and redemption.
